He received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing at the University of Minnesota. Tom grew up in Edina, Minnesota as a hockey playing, lake loving kid. He moved to Colorado for a season of ski bumming in 1983 and has been there ever since. His free time is spent playing sports of all kinds and enjoying time with the family at their mountain retreat.
